Full-time | $60,000–$70,000 + bonus opportunities
JGroup Hospitality is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the team at one of our restaurants in the Seacoast New Hampshire area.
We’re looking for a hands-on restaurant leader who is passionate about hospitality, develops strong teams and understands what it takes to deliver an excellent guest experience while running a successful restaurant.
About the Role
JGroup Hospitality is a locally owned hospitality group with a diverse collection of restaurants and hotels, each with its own concept and personality.
As General Manager, you’ll lead day-to-day restaurant operations, develop and support the front-of-house team and work closely with culinary leadership to maintain high standards for hospitality, service and restaurant performance.
What You’ll Do
Lead day-to-day restaurant operations
Recruit, train, develop and support a high-performing front-of-house team
Set clear standards for service, professionalism, teamwork and hospitality
Work closely with the Executive Chef and restaurant leadership
Oversee staff performance and guest satisfaction during service
Build schedules based on the needs of the restaurant and team
Manage inventory, ordering and vendor relationships
Maintain clear communication with ownership, culinary leadership and staff
Address employee performance and operational issues
Oversee opening and closing procedures, reporting and POS updates
Participate in regular management meetings and contribute to the restaurant’s overall performance
What We’re Looking For
At least 2 years of restaurant or hospitality management experience
Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
Experience leading and developing restaurant teams
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Solid knowledge of food, wine and beverage service
Comfort working with restaurant technology and POS systems
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment
Availability to work nights and weekends
Experience with Toast, high-volume restaurants and elevated dining concepts is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $60,000–$70,000 per year
